Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in Lantern Festival this past weekend! We hope you had a great time. Thanks to the brothers of Omega Xi Delta for working with us to put together a great event! We also wanted to give a big thanks to all the alumni, sisters from other chapters, and families that came out to support us and perform. Be sure to come back next year for the 17th Annual Lantern Festival!
As the end of the school year draws to an end, we encourage everyone to study hard and enjoy the last few weeks of Spring Quarter. April 16th, 2010 - Miss Greek Universe
Last night six ladies from sororities Chi Omega, Kappa Alpha Theta, alpha Kappa Delta Phi, Sigma Omega Nu, Sigma Alpha, and Chi Delta Theta participated in the first ever Miss Greek Universe hosted by ΝΑΚ. In events leading up to the main show, people from every organization worked together to register as bone marrow donors for the Be A Match foundation. Each person who registered or purchased a presale ticket was given a vote to cast for a candidate. The day-of events consisted of a question and answer session as well as a talent portion. Our very own Hillery Nguyen performed a beautiful hula and tahitian dance. When the votes and judges points were counted, the results were as follows: second runner up was Van Nguyen representing alpha Kappa Delta Phi, first runner up was Lizabeth Hernandez representing Sigma Omega Nu, and in first place came Hillery Nguyen of Chi Delta Theta. Congratulations Hillery! And thank you to the NAKs, the Be A Match foundation, and to everyone else who helped support us and helped save a life by registering to be a match!

April 5th, 2010 - Welcome Back
Hello everyone and welcome back! We hope everyone had a great Spring Break and a good first week of school. We have a few new updates for you guys. Don't forget to check the calendar for upcoming events and important dates! We have also added our composite images throughout the years under our "Sisters" section so be sure to take a look. And last but not least...
On behalf of the sisters of Chi Delta Theta, Beta Chapter, we would like to congratulate our fellow sisters at the University of California, Los Angeles for becoming officially recognized on the UCLA campus!

March 11th, 2010 - Upcoming Fundraisers
We have two upcoming fundraisers in March! Our first fundraiser has already begun. We have teamed up with UPS to raise funds from textbook buybacks. Just go to the UPS store with your unwanted books, mention "CHI DELTA THETA" when you sell your books back, and 10% of every book you sell will go to Chi Delta Theta. The UPS Store on Foothill pays more money for your books than the bookstore does so you are getting the best deal. Don't worry, the 10% that's going back to Chi Delts doesn't come from the cash they give you. They will match the 10% with every book you bring in. So the more books, the merrier!
The UPS store will also buy back books not being used next quarter so bring back those books that were rejected at other bookstores! You will get paid in CASH. Also, the club at Cal Poly with the most "attending" invites will get a $100 fundraising bonus to kick start the buyback so please join our facebook event and invite your friends to join!

Secondly, we will be having a CLUB EVENT on Thursday, March 25th from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM! Come party it up with the lovely ladies of Chi Delta Theta (Cal Poly's Best Sorority Dance Crew)!! The Highlands- the hottest club in Hollywood, is known for having EPIC guests/performers and being filled to capacity! Only $10 if you buy a presale ticket from any of the sisters!!! If, for any reason, you are unable to buy a presale ticket and you want to go, let us know and we can put you on our guestlist!! As long as you mention Chi Delta Theta at the door and your name is on the guestlist, it'll be only $10!!! So make sure to mention Chi Delta Theta at the door!! See you all there!!

Contact our fundraising chairs Kimberly Tomas or Josie Fiske for tickets or more information. We hope to see you there!

March 9th, 2010 - First Place in Sorority Best Dance Crew
Today Chi Delta Theta participated in Theta Chi's "Sorority Best Dance Crew." Along with other panhellenic sororites such as Alpha Epsilon, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Chi Omega, and Delta Delta Delta, the girls competed with two different routines. The first one emphasized a theme or music of a certain artist. Chi Delts chose Jay-Z with songs such as "Run this town" and "Bonnie & Clyde '03." The second routine was a master mix of the sorority's choice of songs. The hosts, Theta Chi, also displayed a surprise dance. In the end, Chi Delta Theta took home first place as the only representative from USFC and the title of Cal Poly's sorority best dance crew!
Check out the miscellaneous section to view video footage of the performances!
