December 2, 2011 - Caroling for Cans!
We joined the brothers of Lambda Phi Epsilon for a community service social! We split up into teams and caroled around the neighborhood for cans. If the residents enjoyed our singing, they could donate cans to us for the food bank. The competition between teams motivated us to collect as many cans as possible. Afterwards, we all celebrated with a pizza party!
November 20, 2011- End of the Quarter Sisterhood
Before Thanksgiving Break, we all got together for a potluck! We split up into groups to make different dishes to share. It was a chance to catch up with each other and relax before break and finals!
October 28, 2011 - Sisterhood Pumpkin Carving
It's getting chilly, which means.... autumn is here! To celebrate, we all decided to go to the pumpkin patch in Avila. First, we pet farm animals and took pictures with cows. Then, we paired up and chose pumpkins to bring home to carve! We left the pumpkin only after we took a group picture on the haystack. At home, we carved unqiue designs into our pumpkins:

After a much antipicated week, Alpha Delta Pledge Class got their big sises! YAY (:
October 16, 2011 - CultureFest
Like always, we participated in MCC's CultureFest this year. (: We sold fried wontons, which were delicious. And also had a table of children's crafts: ricebowl magnets! Overall, it was a fun day for everyone, filled with yummy food and good performances!
October 6, 2011 - Memory Walk
This weekend, we participated in Alzheimer Association's Memory Walk again! Like last year, we set up and maintained the tribute area of flags. We also handed water to walkers and cheered them on. This event means a lot of one of our sisters, so I'm glad many of us attended! It was a great day of helping out and learning more about the cause.

October 3, 2011 - Successful Rush Week
Thank you to all the girls who came out to the events! We hope you all had a great time getting to know us and our oraganization! Also, thank you to Nu Alpha Kappa for a wonderful bonfire, to Lambda Phi Epsilon for a fun game of steal the bacon, and to our sisters in SB for a great Friday night!!
And finally, THANK YOU Precilla Tang & Kelsey Taku for planning such successful rush week! You girls did a extraordinary job!

August 12, 2011 - Joint Core
This year Joint Core was hosted by us, Beta Chapter! Over 50 sisters from all 6 chapters came to San Luis Obispo for a large meeting and sisterhood events! The weekend was full of fun and bonding as we showed our other sisters around our neck of the woods, the cute little town of SLO! As sisters of Chi Delta Theta, we are proud to be able to say that we know all the sisters from all our chapters. This weekend definitely strengthened our bonds even further!
August 5, 2011 - Retreat
Every summer, we go on a weekend retreat to stay in touch with our sisters and to get ready for the new school year. This summer, we went to the Bay Area! In Berkeley, we had fun bonding with games like pictionary (which was crazy loud) and dance central on the knect (which was hilarious to watch). We also went to San Francisco for lunch with an alumna, shopping, and a visit to the MOMA. Thank you Sandy, our sisterhood chair, for planning such a great weekend!
