RUSH - FAQ's
FAQ's - Rush Winter 2012

What is Rush?
Rush is a time for us to meet and get to know girls who are interested in our organization. It is a week full of fun events where you can meet new people, get to know the sisters of Chi Delta Theta and learn what our organization is all about! This is a great opportunity to ask us any questions you may have to help you decide if you'd like to join. These events are created to acquaint you with the purpose & goals of our sorority, as well as to meet our sisters and have some fun!

Do I have to pay to rush?
Absolutely not! Rush events are all FREE of charge and rides will be provided to off campus locations. Snacks and food will also be provided at events.

If I rush, do I have to join Chi Delta Theta?
Nope! Rush is a time for you to learn about our sisterhood. There is no obligation to join by rushing. Just take this chance to see if this is something you might be interested in and have fun!

Does joining a sorority take up all my time?
It definitely doesn't. We have many sisters who actively participate in other organizations such as CPAC, PCE, CSA, TVSA, and many more. Our girls also find the time to do personal things such as work part-time, become RAs, and most importantly, study! We pride ourselves on striving hard to achieve good grades, which shows when many of our sisters receive Dean's List.

Who can join Chi Delta Theta?
Anyone can join! We are an Asian-American interest sorority, which means we strive to promote awareness and knowledge about Asian cultures on campus and throughout the community. You don’t have to be Asian to join! As long you have an interest, you can join. Chi Delta Theta does not discriminate against race, religion, or national origin.

Why should I "Go Greek"?
Studies show that Greek students tend to get the best experience out of their college careers. Greek Organizations provide opportunities for students to become well rounded and obtain valuable skills for the future. It is a great way to get involved on campus and in the community. There are many experiences that Greek Organizations can offer such as:

Community Service (Giving back to the community), Leadership Skills (Many opportunities to lead), Social skills (Networking is great for future careers!), Scholarship opportunities, and most importantly, friendships that will last a lifetime.

How can I get more information?
We encourage you to contact our Rush Chairs, Precilla Tang and Kelsey Taku, or our President, Aubrianna Sanchez. You can also ask any of our sisters if you see us around campus! We will be glad to answer any questions you may have about Rush.

What are you waiting for? Come Rush Winter 2012! (:
